The Speedy promise : "I will never own a house again."

Never will I buy a house again....Lived there tooooo long and a lonely life. Many people come and go, but I stayed. I had parties, overnights, wild times (oh, just guess!) and now its time to say goodbye. Speedy was even a Landlord! Although I did not make Landlord of the month, (yes, there is a website for that) I can proudly say that in my living life, I owned a house, and became a Landlord for one year with 9 years into owning it. Now the tenants have moved and it was time for me to sell. Went fast like in 2 weeks...But the worst was the wait for all the paper work and inspectors and things that go wrong the last minute...like the furnace and water pipes and termites and ....OH...all at once....Me going back to the empty house every night/day to clean up is like going back to my past. Sometimes it was hard to get over all the lonely times I had there. And there I was, cleaning up like I used to (yard work) by myself again. It's hard when you don't have family and friends are only there for the good times. NEVER again will I buy a house! I like to rent and move and have my freedom when I am young like now....I worked for the past 10 years for repairs & couldn't do what others were doing for fun and ran up my charges so very much....Did you ever notice that old people have worked hard for their houses and when they cant work anymore, the taxes are so high and maybe that they leave it for their kids, and the kids sell it for a profit...well, my reasoning is why work all those years for a house. Why not enjoy life and be free while you can and take time each day to appreciate it. Life is toooo short and goes by fast. 

And what about all the stuff accumulated within the 9+ years there..It's amazing how much one person can keep, buy and put away in 7 rooms...I gave away lots to Goodwill then to friends then sold then just gave away furniture...Time was of the essence and tenants were moving in and I wanted my life settled in apartments...still stuff in storage (now that is a business to get into!)   As I look through boxes still, memories, some good, I am still giving away and selling on Ebay!
