| NO photos!!!!! All I was doing was taking photos in the subway of the beautiful tile artwork on the walls. The tiles are beautiful and so are the new MetroCard machines. Suddenly while I was photographing the tiles (only 1 photo), I heard a muffled voice saying "You can't do that, you don't have permission!" So I began to look around, could that be for me? I heard over the loud speaker, "You do not have permission to take photographs"....Oh no, that must mean me. here I am looking around, where did that voice come from? The booth which is taller than me with plexiglas and 2 attendants and a line of people buying metrocards or tokens....so I walked up to the booth only to find the 2 attendants yelling at me with pointed fingers...YOU CAN'T TAKE PHOTO'S WITHOUT PERMISSION, DO YOU HAVE PERMISSION?" I said who I was and no, and I am sorry...all I could think about was the MTA police being called silently and me being taken away with my camera that contained 1 innocent photo of art in the subway....I began to look for the turnstile to leave FAST!....Saw one, backed up to it saying "I'm really sorry, I didn't know I need permission" (And that is the honest truth) Ziped my MetroCard through the turnstile and walked FAST to the 1 subway car and got on. The doors closed, I got off at the next stop and got on the correct train. All I could think about was the MTA police was going to meet me at the next stop...what did I do that was so wrong?....But they didn't and I was free... I have Never Photographed again in or near the subways....
