Chinatown Buffet in Chinatown New york

Chinatown, am so very hungry...walking to nowhere in particular...we found a Chinese food Buffet only $4 or $5 ...cool very different. Pay first, we wait in line to pay, man at register says "$4 or $5? 4 or 5 item? I looked at my friend who asked me what would you like? and before I can say anything the "Man at the register said "OK, 5 item with soda, $10...so without me saying anything, I paid the $10 for us both. Now its time to get the food...women behind the buffet. Point to what you want and you get a spoonful. No signs as to what it is. Of course I know what rice is. That one I did know. So there we were. My friend finished first in line, was then waiting for me at the end of the line. A very nice Chinese woman came over to him and said "YOU HAVE 5 ITEM, NO MORE FOOD FOR YOU!" ....Hey doesn't this sound like an episode from Seinfeld from the Soup Man????  

My friend said "I am waiting for her (& points to me)" & again the lady answers, " 5 ITEM, NO MORE" ...at this point my friend says to me "I'm going to get a seat for us."

We sit down, and feel the rumble of the subway under us..this I think is so very cool! the distant sound of the underground train to the actual rumble. To know that people are under us traveling and we are stationed at a table....Love this city! Oh and hey where is the soup! I took a flyer from the place and we were supposed to get soup!!!
