Apartment Adventures Its a circle day...just going places and doing what i was soposed to but actually doing nothing i was soposed to because i ended up driving in circles and not doing anything i wanted to do...so it went like this..... I got up at 5 am...why i dont know...i ended up watching the movie "Shaft" ...hey remember in 1971, Shaft-he's a bad mother******!... After 2 cups of coffe and a bowl of grapenuts with powdered milk(as I am out of real milk) I wanted my Daily News...it's now 9 am...I hear in the bathroom and my room banging and sawing in the wall..so I go under the sink in the bathroom and take a flashlight to the pipe and cant see more than I can so I begin to knock on the wall with the pipe...maybe its some one in the wall sending S.O.S....but no it isnt...the knocking stops...I make a phone call, there is a knock at the door, i ask the phone friend to hold on really hanging up. Superintendent asking that i not use the water "FOR A WHILE"...i say "Ok"..and call back my friend..the knocking must of been the Superintendent with the wall pipes...right? I got a check from a friend and decieded to cash it at the bank that was on the check because i didnt have an account there and didnt want it against my account, so i went to Yahoo and looked up the bank and found out there was one nearby so it was 11:30 and the banks on Sat close at 12 so i get in my car and speed to the bank with the yahoo map directions and find the address of the bank but dont see the bank, only a brick building with other shops in it....ok. so i turn around the car (with me driving of course & I am by myself) and go into the parking lot...its not there ...the bank doesnt exist...ok, I should have called the phone number first before I left...so i decied to go to my bank and just deposit the check ...the most that could happen if it is a bad check is I get charged some of the money and the bank takes back the money from the check and i get the check back....so now i get back in the car and go to the library and what was i thinking ? I drove to the wrong library so out of the parking lot i go out to the highway to go to the library of my choice because i do not have to pay for parking on a Saturday, but I drove and drove around the blocks yes blocks 2 time & no parking spaces so i said to myself "Forget this" ...yes, I should have stayed at the other library. All because I wanted to be cheap and not pay the meters and get some free Dvd's to watch...so now off i go to Church...and the same thing...no parking spaces..i drove and drove but could not find anything...so off I go back home only to find out that the water is still not turned on....no i have to use the bathroom more than ever and am thinking of ways to flush or go elsewhere that is open all night...I have to go and get bottled water so off to the grocery store i go....they must have a public restroom...on the way i stopped at BurgerKing...waited in line for my food, sat down to eat my burger, then decied to use the rest room...i was waiting in line , (you all know that the womens room has a line where the mens room does not)...a lady was banging on the door saying it was locked and called the manager to get her the keys and the keys came by with the manager who opened the ladies room door only to find that there was a lady in there who began to swear and by now I really had to use the toilet bad...and the mens room was looking good with no line...but then the Mad Knocker and the Swear-er came face to face to argue and then the Swear-er went into the ladies room to use it and after 2 other women it was finally my turn...so nice to flush the toilet...ah the sound of running water in the sink and a flushing toilet!! I wash my hands too! ...next is to go to the grocery store...off I go only to stop at a local library..did not find any Dvd's there but did find some books...yes, i am going to take up reading "A book"...i do remember those from the days before a computer...and of course i am a Daily News fan every day have to have it...and yes, i did use the ladies room there too...just in case...now i drive to the grocery store, sit in the car due to the pouring rain (now i hve to go again) and think think think..."What am i to do in the middle of the night when I have to go to the bathroom? Well, what did I do when I used to go camping? No, there is not an Port-o-let to use although the apartment complex should get one due to it being Super Bowl Sunday tomorrow...and no one can flush although all the men could pee out the window or into a bottle if they have to after all the beer during the Super Bowl...so I came to the happy conclusion to get plastic trash bags the cheap white ones in a box that I can use as a toilet bowl (remember there is NO running water in the whole apartment complex)...so I did...I like this idea better than going out at 2 am although that is not my usual time to use the bathroom but because I cant use it anytime now i have to use it...I would rather use a bag tie it up and go out side to the dumpster and deposit the bag there, of course tying it up first...but the people that go through the dumpster looking for bottles every week....oh what a surprise they will find....maybe I should put a note on the dumpster for them...maybe.....now i am home....lets see what happens tonight!
